Epitaph (Poem)

Epitaph

Exploring houses
Glimpsing in closets
I see wispy shrouds
Left behind by reclusive
Web weavers
And sifted cinders
Surrendering grayness
In stone hearths

Exploring forests
Scattered remains
Murmur a dirge
From last summer
Their lacy skeletal leaves
Attesting to the fragile collision
Of life
And touch
