Simply Sweet (poem)

Simply Sweet

Her larder
Was once stocked
With pastry ingredients
And elbows greased in kneading
Filling her bakery window
With tarts and cupcakes
To lure his sweet tooth

And that flirty ruffled apron
Well,
It hangs on a peg now
